Third (kind of) person game for coursera Game Design and Development course. That should be 3d platformer but that was boring and i made a adventure game ("Квест", если по русски) with Factorio mechanics (how i was planing) and cutscenes.

Use WASD to walk, SPACE to jump, LMB or E to use
objects, F to open item menu and Q or RMB to cancel.

You can find here such features as: 

  • Cutscene, animations and music;
  • Sounds and effects;
  •  Resident evil (classic) style camera;
  • Item menu;
  • Factorio assambly lines (but without building mechanic - not enough time);
  • Hats!!! (only one - not enough time for more D:)

Further plans (maybe):

  • Levels with construction system (all assembly lines and factories in current version are ready to use);
  • Hats!
  • Comedy plot (for about 10-20 levels, that would be bigger then first three);
  • New graphics?

- optimization;

- fix bug with dialogue system;

- add some boxes in the first level so now everyone can complete them;

- new camera on level 3.

woah, really cool. something in the main menu really made my computer act up at the beginning was fine after i reloaded it. i couldn't figure out how to use items like the broom or the fire extinguisher after grabbing them, i just used the level select to get passed the storage room.

There should be a tutorial in the main menu. In the first level there are a lot of latter on the floor - it's all buttons that you need.  press "q" to open inventory and then press "E" in the right place (use broom on a shalf). And you can open any level in the main menu so please - try other 2 levels. They should work just fine)

q didn't work seems like f brings up the inventory. i might not be able to deselect or switch to an item from inventory. in the office there are some spots where if i walk off camera i can't go back. didn't regain control after talking to the dude in the meeting in level 3.

oops. you right, it's "f".  Press "q" to deselect (or use RMB). my bad D=

About dude - another bug that i missed. i'll fix it today or tomorrow.

And about camera - you probably stuck near object, just move around a bit. There are definitely no holes in level.

Fixed! And add some adjustments to the 3rd level camera + some optimization.
