Space shooter for coursera Game Design and Development course.

Move with WASD.

Aim with mouse.

Shot with left mouse button.

Space bar for ultimate weapon.

Collect upgrades and complete two levels of game. Third level for infinite game.

You can find here such features as: 

  • Upgrades for your ship - make him deadlier as hell;
  • Ultimate weapons - find Nuke or Allies to increase your firepower;
  • Top-down scrolling levels;
  • Real boss fights! (With stages!!!);
  • Some graphic changes (new enemies and additions for your ship - look different by upgrades).

That's all i could do in 2 weekends.

Knowing bugs:

  • Ship could some times fly through objects from second level - to many things to change in original scripts to fix it, cant find time for it;
  • Bomb bullets could have no effect on bosses;
  • Can't shoot boss on the second level in his first and second stages? Its not a bag, it's a feature - there is a way to do it.

might be a little too hard because of how slow your bullets are at the beginning and how hard to see the enemies' are, not to mention rapid fire spreader enemies that aim at you are a bit overwhelming, but it's very well realized and more fun. just 1 spread kind of makes it more overwhelming and harder to aim, getting a lot of damage ups isn't good either. upgrades changing your look is super cool! dieing once just makes me want to start the level over.

Glad to hear that you like things that i put in the first place)
Maybe one day I'll go back to that game and will make some adjustments.
